Scholarship Overview
Qatar University Scholarships are open for international students to pursue their undergraduate studies in Qatar for the session of 2023-2024. This scholarship provides the Students with tuition fees, provision of university accommodation, and annual round trip air fare ticket and textbooks fees exemption.
Qatar University supports a wide variety of scholarship recipients each academic year in order to attract highly qualified students. The academic scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and scholarly achievement.

Qatar University Scholarships provides the recipients below benefits:
External Scholarships:
Students will be sponsored by Qatar University and these scholarships include exemption from courses tuition fees, provision of university accommodation, and annual round trip air fare ticket and textbooks fees exemption.
Internal scholarships:
This scholarship includes exemption only from tuition fees and book fees.
H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence:
These Scholarships include exemption from tuition fees and book fees.
Outstanding Performance Scholarship:
These Scholarships include exemption from tuition fees only
Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria for Qatar University Scholarships:
Required Languages: English.
Eligible Countries: All World countries
Internal scholarships:
Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the college and major that they applied to. In addition to, submitting the final, official high school transcript for new admitted applicants.
The scholarship must be benefited from in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (mainly, registering for and passing classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.

H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence:
Hold a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate.
A minimum average of 95% in the secondary school certificate.
The applicant should be a secondary school graduate in the same year in which the scholarship application is made.
These scholarship awards are only made in the Fall semester.
The scholarship must be benefited from in the first semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (mainly, registering for and passing classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.
Outstanding Performance Scholarship:
Must be enrolled at Qatar University.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.
Must have completed at least 30 credit hours in QU.
Students with the highest cumulative GPA will be selected.
